Lyndsi Bodtmann, PsyD
Co-Founder & Director

Lyndsi is a licensed psychologist, receiving her doctoral degree in School Psychology from Rutgers University. Lyndsi was intensively trained in DBT at Columbia University. Her clinical experience has focused on treating emotional dysregulation throughout the life course. She has a particular expertise in behavioral observation, consultation, and interventions, and she is a devoted advocate and educator for families and other professionals. In addition to her clinical experience, Lyndsi also provides school-based services to support students within their educational setting.

When Lyndsi isn't working, she enjoys teaching yoga, going for a run, and catching up on her Netflix favorites. She also loves being a mom!
Mary Azer, LCSW
Clinician

Mary is a licensed clinical social worker, having earned her Masters of Science in Social Work at Columbia University and her Bachelors of Arts in Social Work at Rutgers University. Mary has experience providing residential, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient treatment to adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and personality disorders. Mary has a passion for DBT, and creates a space that’s warm, safe, and light-hearted, while also holding clients accountable to the work they need to do in order to achieve their goals and a life worth living.
Outside of work, Mary enjoys visiting new coffee shops and local restaurants, traveling, and kickboxing.
Michael Bodtmann, LCSW
Co-Founder & Director

Michael is a licensed clinical social worker with over 15 years of experience providing evidence based therapy. He was intensively trained in DBT while obtaining his MS in social work from Columbia University, and his experience includes mental health and substance use treatment, school based services, program development, training, consultation, and clinical and LCSW supervision. He believes strongly in empirically supported treatments and the importance of the therapeutic relationship. In addition to his clinical work, Michael is a senior lecturer at the Columbia School of Social Work.

Outside of work, Michael is a runner, Lego enthusiast, and a lifelong musician. Michael also enjoys all the excitement that comes with being a dad!
Jennie Chavis, LCSW
Clinician

Jennie is a licensed clinical social worker who earned her MSW from Columbia University. She has experience working with individuals and families across inpatient, outpatient, and school-based settings, and has supported individuals with anxiety and mood disorders, OCD, and eating and body image concerns. Jennie is extensively trained in CBT and DBT, and brings compassion, validation, and authenticity into each session. She works collaboratively with her clients to create a safe and supportive therapeutic space. Jennie also has specialized training for working with individuals during the pregnancy and postpartum time frame. In addition to her clinical work, Jennie also holds a Master’s in Public Health and is a committed advocate for both health care and mental health.

Outside of work, she loves spending time outdoors (often chasing after her energetic dog!) and time with her family.
Ashley Dombrowski, PsyD
Clinician

Ashley is a licensed psychologist and certified school psychologist. She received her doctoral degree from the Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology at Rutgers University with a specialty in school psychology. Ashley's clinical work has focused on providing behavioral and cognitive behavioral treatment to children, adolescents and young adults with diagnoses including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, externalizing behavior disorders, and specific learning differences.

Outside of work Ashley is a wife and mother of three. She enjoys spending time with family, visiting the Jersey Shore, and exploring new culinary experiences.
Jillian Kane, LCSW
Clinician

Jillian, a licensed clinical social worker with an MSW from Fordham University, has experience providing individual and group therapy in outpatient, inpatient, and residential treatment settings. She has worked effectively with individuals having a wide range of diagnoses such mood, anxiety, personality disorders, and PTSD. Her clinical experience in providing CBT and DBT makes her a compassionate clinician who actively listens and creates a comfortable and safe space for her clients. Jillian is a passionate mental health care advocate dedicated to helping each client live their best life.

When not working, Jillian enjoys swimming, playing the flute, and spending time with her family and dog.
Dominick Ottomanelli, LCSW
Clinician

Dominick is a licensed clinical social worker and certified couples & sex therapist who received his MSW from Seton Hall University. Dominick has extensive experience working with clients across the lifespan, and his training includes cognitive and dialectical behavioral therapy. When working with couples, Dominick uses a DBT framework to assist with relationship goals and communication. Dominick has experience working with individuals with high risk behavioral challenges, depression, anxiety, and PTSD. He also has expertise in providing school-based services to support students within educational settings, and is highly versed in crisis de-escalation and management.

When not working, Dominick enjoys reading, hiking, playing D&D, and spending time with his family.
Aaron Profumo, LSW
Clinician

Aaron earned his M.S. in Social Work from Columbia University, and was a member of the DBT Training Program. Before joining NJCCDBT, Aaron worked in residential care for youth experiencing complex mental illness, collaborating with them and their families on navigating emotional dysregulation and building stable, supportive relationships.
Aaron is also the producer, managing director, and co-founder of a theater company based in Brooklyn that creates auto-fictional devised work on themes of mental health. Aaron received his M.F.A. from the Yale School of Drama. www.peter-julia.com
Aaron is the father of three girls, an avid reader, and passionate sauna enthusiast.
Elizabeth Savino, LCSW
Clinician

Liz is a licensed clinical social worker and certified school social worker. She earned her master's degree in Social Work from Kean University. Liz has extensive experience providing cognitive behavior therapy in both individual and group settings. She has worked with a wide range of ages including children, adolescents and young adults with diagnoses of anxiety disorders, mood disorders and ADHD. Her experience also includes school based services, clinical and LCSW supervision and crisis management and de-escalation training.
Outside of work, Liz has a passion for helping rescue animals. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends and watching her favorite TV shows.
